Constellating for our Planet
A one day in-person workshop to meet climate change from grief, hope to renewal
Facilitated by: Viv Sung and Jax Wechsler from School of Being
This one-day experiential workshop invites you to reconnect with what sustains life and strengthen our capacity to respond to climate change with care and clarity.
Guided by Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects and Systemic Constellations, in this workshop, we weave constellation practice, ritual and reflection to cultivate active hope and meet these times with heart and imagination.
Joanna Macy reminds us that what threatens us most is not the crisis itself, but the numbing of our response. Our grief and anger are not weaknesses, they are signs of love. When the heart breaks open, it makes space for renewal.
This workshop invites us to pause, deepen our sense of belonging and agency in these changing times and reconnect with the more-than-human world. It is a space to feel, listen, witness and imagine anew – grounded in community and the wisdom of the interconnected web of life.
What this workshop offers
Guided by Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects and systemic/family constellation practice, we explore how climate change lives not only out in the world, but within us, our relationships, and the systems we are part of.
Working within a carefully facilitated, trauma-aware container, the day weaves together:
- Systemic constellation processes to sense what often remains unseen or unspoken
- Ritual, reflection and shared inquiry
- Opportunities to honour grief, love and uncertainty
- Connection to hope, courage and our capacity to respond and imagineÂ
- Going forth with greater perspective and vitalityÂ
Constellations help make visible the relational and systemic dynamics shaping our responses to these times, including overwhelm, urgency, disconnection or paralysis, and what becomes possible when relationship is restored. Read more about systemic constellations here.

WHAT PARTICIPANT’S SAY ABOUT OUR CONSTELLATION WORKSHOPS
“Wow! What an incredible experience. I went in without any expectations and not really knowing what Systemic Constellations was – only a vague idea based on what I knew about family constellations. I was just really curious. From the first practice, which was a simple paired practice, I was so surprised about how tangible the experience was. When we moved into the larger group constellations, seeing and experiencing how profound they were for us all – whether it was about a system we brought or a system that we were representing a part of. I saw how revelatory this practice is and what it can do for each of us. I will definitely be returning and have already shared this with others. Thanks to Viv and Jax for the space that they held for us and the guidance through the process.” – Jen, Coach
“Jax and Viv’s Systemic Constellations workshop was immensely valuable for me. Being able to feel, see and respond to my challenges in the cocoon of the intimate group and trustworthy container they generated has already shifted so much which seemed blocked. Together they tend with great care and skill to ensure an accessible, nourishing and deep learning environment is created. Impeccable in every way!” –Robyn, Facilitator & Coach
“The space felt safe, respectful, and supportive. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but found myself exploring openly alongside a group of curious, non-judgemental strangers who quickly began to feel like one connected energy. There was a sense of shared presence that was both surprising and moving. It was a powerful, memorable experience and offered me insights I’ll carry with me as I navigate my own personal challenges.” – Eileen, Designer
